I’m Networking?

I did a thing. Which thing is that you say? I went to a small Farmer’s Market and introduced myself to Genre Olfattivo, a local candlemaker. I gifted her a sample of my Self-Love Letter box with a proposal: that we team up together. I think a candle would compliment the Self-Love Letter box in a lovely way. Her candles will add a soothing aroma to the safe space I’m trying to capture for their beautiful recipients. My ultimate goal is to work with many local vendors to curate these boxes, actually; so this is a good place to start. ✨

Doing this felt harder than it needed to honestly lol. I lost sleep last night because I was afraid I would wake up late and disappoint the Little Free Library person that was going along with me. ( Another added bonus.) I was also nervous over the quality of my box and so many other things and why? Because I’m being silly. Because it seems I need to make a Self-Love Letter box for myself. But I guess it’s always been second nature for me to be kinder to others than I am to myself..

But I digress! I went with @pawprintslittlelibrary to the Farmer’s Market because she introduced me to Genre Olfattivo. I’m so proud of myself. Look at me. Networking. Who would have thought? But it’s better than that. I’m putting myself out there and meeting people. Go me.
