It is certainly difficult to find the joy in Christmas for many of us, especially this year. But we have to try. As Mr. Jordan Klepper so wisely shared, APATHY is what the current US administration and any evil person wants from us more than anything so, we can remain doormats and they can carry on abusing the world.
So care! Even though it may hurt. Care! Even though most people won’t appreciate your kindness BECAUSE it’s the right to do. BECAUSE you’ll feel better for it. There is never enough kindness and good-heartedness, so spread it! Spread them like wildfire and I promise kindness will one day return to you.
Speaking of kindness, today I’m baking cookies. 🍪 I decided for this month’s Little Free Library Self-Love Letters, I would write some Letters to Santa 🎅 and bake my LFL friends some cookies.
Not every LFL person has been kind, but I’m making them cookies anyway. Why you ask? Because I want to be nice! I choose to be nice despite most of Miami being unkind because we have to find the joy. We have to find the happy and good throughout all this, despite all this…or what are we doing?
So be Merry and be Joyful this Christmas. Don’t let the Scrooges of the world grind you down. 💜
