What Makes You Different (Makes You Potentially a Criminal)

Apparently, What Makes You Different (Makes You Beautiful) isn’t available on Spotify. 😦

I’m not a fan of plastic surgery. Not at all. Of course, like everything, there are exceptions like, someone that suffered a terrible accident or lost a part of themselves to stupid a** cancer, etc. But I’m not referring to recovery or healing your soul, but the excess of vanity and insecurity feeding the cosmetic surgery machine every day. I just feel that yes, what makes you different makes you beautiful. Loving yourself should include loving your body.

Some might say that body building and working out are body modifications, as well, but approved more often. Well, that too, I believe should have a balance as all in life should. In balance, working out is healthy and is strength building, but when it becomes about vanity, then you’ve lost all you’ve gained. Working out, in a healthy way, is not paying someone to cut your perfectly healthy body up for a bigger a** because it’s trendy but growing physically and mentally a new self. You establish a connection with your body and get to know it and watch it grow. I just think plastic surgery can be disruptive to the body-mind connection. You’re not becoming acquainted with yourself or reconnecting with a part of you that’s been lost, but running from your body, from yourself.

As you can see, I have real strong feelings about cosmetic surgery, but know what I won’t do? I won’t bully, discriminate, or pass laws against people that look different. I won’t create a separate bathroom or not hire them because they don’t resemble me and my values. Because, guess what? It doesn’t affect me! They could get 10 penis enlargement surgeries and it wouldn’t matter because my life won’t change a lick from it!

I just don’t understand why people care if someone uses cosmetics surgery to change their gender but are perfectly okay with a woman walking around in tits larger than beach balls. No one is blocking Joann from going to the Country Club because her bum doesn’t match her legs. In the end, it doesn’t even matter. 😉 The only way people putting their life on the line to go under the knife affects you, is if you have an intimate relationship with them, other than that, Margo’s tits will continue to be huge with or without you and Henry will continue to now be June with or without you. Let’s be fair.

All I’m saying is, I’m glad everyone loves to have an opinion because clearly, I have many…but what I won’t do is give someone else a hard time unless they’re giving me a hard time. It’s that simple.

Live your life liiife, ehhh, ehhh, ehhh..

Bonus story!

The Fly

I wish I could say Jeff Goldblum was haunting me at work, but no. There’s a fly that’s been stalking me from the day I was on the teller side to the next day when I was on the platform side.

This little mothereffer has a sense of humor, though. I’ve tried to kill it several times but wherever I try, it just taunts me. I was speaking to my coworker in his office when this son of a bish flies in and zooms past me just I was complaining about him annoying me at the teller window. He heard me talking about him so he hadddd to make his presence known. My coworker laughs at me because he doesn’t believe me! But just as I leave his office to approach the one I’d be using, I walk in and there he is…

Resting right in front of the keyboard from the chair side as if he’s in charge. He needed to let me know he was and always will be in control. (Until he dies in a few hours because how long can a fly last indoors without food?)

Never a dull moment at my job. And no, I didn’t get to nail ’em. I tried. The stapler did nothing against his stupid butt that flies right past my knuckles when I’m trying to type.

I hope he’s finally dead.
