Here we are. It is March and we are now in it. The days just seem to blur don’t they?
This month I approacheth with more calm – in some ways more than I expected. I’ll explain…
I recently did some math on my paychecks comparing it to a similar week in 2025 to see how far my little raise fared. Well…disappointment was not nearly as high as my anger. Taxes and deductions had increased and I am now making $20 less a paycheck. $40 less a month. And thanks to AI taking a hold at work and the economic mushroom cloud this country is in…I’m getting paid less to do more. Go for launch. All motivation systems nominal. Maximum apathy.
So why do I feel better you ask? Because it’s not my fault! *dances around with twirling ribbons* I am approaching full-whimsy mood this March because the proof is in the pudding, as MPF would say. (Male Parental Figure) If I am busting my butt but my own job and government is against me, than it’s not my fault. Universe-erse-erse-erse-erse… You-u-u-u-u-u Got-t-t-t-t-t this-is-is-is on-e-e.. For IÂ am out of carrots and out of sticks, Michael, because unless I move somewhere else entirely (maybe)…this is what we got to work with.
So! Listen to me buckeroos, this is that 1% of control over our life that I’m talking about. Let that 99% know you’re here, but remember the rest is out of our hands. Just enjoy yourself. Do what you love. You can’t control of 99% of what happens next, but at least you skip happily into March hoping for more happy along the way.

P.S. I am definitely not going to overextend myself at work. 🤣 Pay me less to do more. *snickers* I’ll do my job, but nothing more. I won’t stress or hurry or do anymore than I can and should. That place is a pit stop and a joke. More advice my fellow Americans, all workplaces are pit stops unless they bring value, so only work as much as they feed your meter. You’ll be parking somewhere else soon anyway.
