I went for a walk to today with my CD player. That’s right. My CD player *screams* I have fallen down the ebay rabbit hole and have been a very happy camper. Unfortunately though, although I have the case for American Idiot, I believe my ex took my CD…
But! I found I had more burnt CDs than I remember having and played one of those. I don’t even know how my sister figured out how to make so many but when it came to music or anything trending: she was hip. I..
I was like hipster but not. I’ve just always been of my own mind whether for good or ill So I needed to know I liked something because I like it and not because I’m supposed to like it. Still…
Thanks to her I was exposed to what was in (whether I wanted to be or not…)
And I hope my care package reminds her what a spark she can be. How inspiring she can be.
What I know is… I’m returning to who I was. I’m embracing every year of me. Right now, 20 year old me and 41 year old me want to play and listen to CDs. So be it. I think all of use could use more analog on our life.
What’s the last analog you’ve done recently?
