I noticed I used to date these then it stopped, so there it is. 😀
Surprise! I am blogging today and did not blog yesterday! I’m sure so many of you were disappointed. I just had to break my routine a bit. I was beginning to hate Sundays when I used to enjoy them. It took everything I had to get my butt to clean this morning — but I did it! And so now I’m here, blogging after cleaning as I normally would on Sunday and the world didn’t fall apart, which is something I’ve been working towards believing in: flexibility.
I’ve been gradually shifting and fidgeting under the hammer of my own schedule because as much as discipline is important, I needed to learn how to relax. go with the flow. breathe.
Besides! I was getting sooooo booooooored *pulls face* I had to shake my schedule up a bit, so every day would stop blurring into the next. I even got bored, get bored with Coke sometimes and I love it. Don’t tell anyone, but there’s a reason why they say you can have too much of a good thing. I left my shitty job to be free and here I was still trapped under rules zombeing out, except they were mine — at least the only boss I had to negotiate with now was: ME. Thank God. Which can be easier, but not easy. So I made an effort to find space again. Movement again. Break the routine, my own rules a bit, and feel alive. autonomous. present.
Boredumb (spelt this way purposely) and even laziness can be useful triggers, I think, when used properly. They ask us to reevaluate our routine and explore, search for new experiences — like tweaking your cleaning schedule, as a start.
