November Self-Love Letter

November 2nd, 2026

November has creeped in while we’ve been so busy lost in our thoughts. In our world. In our life. So it might appear utterly absurd, but we’re here on the 11th month of the year and I’m going to ask you to: let go and pretend. We are going to attempt to dedicate at least one day (or bonus points, an entire month!) to pretending we are where ๐Ÿ’œ we want to be. Have, all we want to have. Pretend, for a moment, that all is right and we have all we need. Feel grateful for what’s to come as if it’s ours. Already. And maybe, the Universe will follow. Maybe not, but at least we were happy. For we shouldn’t only believe what we can comprehend.

We’re reaching the end of the year. Good or bad, we’ve zoomed by on our decisions and can do nothing about them now. But we’re here.

So if we’re here, then let’s pretend everything has worked out โ€” even if it definitely does not feel like it. Because we’re already here. It’s done. If we’re at least alive โ€” lmao โ€” then we’re at least around for the opportunity to be happy. Who knows how everything works? As randomly absurdly bad as life can get, it can also be randomly absurdly good. We can’t limit ourselves by what we understand, so let’s pretend.

What’s one thing you can pretend on right now?

  1. Oh Nessa, I think I rather like this idea! ๐Ÿ’œ Sometimes we get so caught up in everything that is happening around us that we forget to leave a little room for imagining things turning out beautifully.

I would happily dedicate a whole month to pretending that all the worries have sorted themselves out, the bills have paid themselves, and everything has somehow fallen into place! ๐Ÿ˜‚

But seriously, I love what you said about life being just as capable of surprising us with something wonderfully good as it is with something unexpectedly bad. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, and perhaps that’s reason enough not to give up on hope.

And even if pretending doesn’t change the circumstances, at least it gives us permission to enjoy a little happiness along the way.

Here’s to a few lovely surprises from the Universe! ๐Ÿ’œโค๏ธ
